IEHP Doula Coverage — Inland Empire
IEHP covers doula care for Inland Empire families
IEHP Doula Benefit
The Inland Empire's most-loved health plan covers doulas, and most members don't know it.
Inland Empire Health Plan is the largest Medi-Cal managed care plan in Riverside and San Bernardino counties — serving more Inland Empire residents than any other health plan. And since California expanded Medi-Cal doula coverage in 2023, IEHP members have had access to professional birth and postpartum doula support that most families haven't heard about yet.
If you have IEHP and are currently pregnant, or were pregnant within the last 12 months, you may qualify for covered doula care right now. SoCal Doulas is contracted with IEHP and was founded right here in the Inland Empire by Tayna Chessman and Ifeanyi Kerri-Walker. This community is home. These families are exactly who they built SoCal Doulas to serve.
We handle all billing directly with IEHP. You never file a claim, navigate paperwork, or figure out reimbursement on your own. You focus on your pregnancy and your baby, we handle everything else.
"We had no idea IEHP covered doula services. Our doula was there for every prenatal visit, through our whole labor, and came to our home twice after our baby arrived. It changed everything."
